Malaysia CPI - May 2018

Malaysia CPI - May 2018

Here's a look at Malaysia CPI for May 2018. The Consumer Price Index shows that the consumer goods and services had an overall increase of 1.8% compared to last year prices.(May 2017).

The CPI is divided into 12 main categories or "baskets". The CPI is used as the INFLATION gauge.
However, not all groups increased. The Clothing & Communications groups had a reduction in prices. As usual, the highest increase is the Transport group, mainly due to increase in Oil prices.
